This includes analyzing processes, developing the business case, defining the project, facilitating product selection, planning project deliverables, budgeting, and managing internal and external resources in the completion </span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">of assigned projects.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;"> </li></ul> <br>Responsibilities<br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Manages all aspects of multiple simultaneous Information Technology projects of varying complexity including initiating, planning, construction, implementation and closure. Oversees the most complex and significant projects within the organization. </span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Manages people included on project teams as they contribute to all phases of projects and execution of project tasks.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Identifies stakeholders, develops project charters, and works with stakeholders to determine and document agreed upon project scope and requirements.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Develops and maintains project plans including work breakdown structure (WBS)resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops communication and training plans; and develops requirements documentation.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Coaches and mentors project team members, resource managers and customers on project management, and project delivery methodologies, policies and practices.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Directs a variety of technical resources and functional team members to determine best methods to achieve project objectives. </span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Prepares and delivers both formal and informal departmental training to other IS Project Managers.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Provides insight into IT governance structure to customers.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Assists with and/or facilitates technology selection. Participates in development of vendor Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal as required. </span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Procures and manages internal and external project resources. Defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements, scope and statement of work documents, and service level agreements for technical services in conjunction with internal teams, vendor </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">partners and global resources firms. Participates in vendor contract negotiation and development.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Adheres to compliance required within the project methodology Phase Gates.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Analyzes department workflows and assists with process analysis and change.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Ensures all project documentation including meeting agenda/minutes resides on project SharePoint sites.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Delivers weekly updates of the project status, scope, schedule and cost.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Manages project budgets, budget reporting, and approving project expenses.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Manages change, risk, issues and communication within projects.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Performs post-project review and formally conducts “lessons learned” sessions after project closure. Documents all related action items and follows up to drive continuous improvement.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Other Related Functions:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Communicates effectively at the executive level.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Understands and assists with improving and defining business processes both within and outside of Information Technology (IT).</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Exhibits an organizational perspective in decision-making.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Works with IT management and oversight committees.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Expedites customer issues as needed.</span></p> <br>Qualifications<br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Education/Training:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Bachelor’s degree OR one of the following is required:</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">o Associate’s degree and two (2) additional years of directly related work experience in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">o High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) additional years of directly related work experience in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Licensure/Certification:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Current Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Experience:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Five (5) years of Information Technology project management experience required. </span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Experience project managing projects with consistent use of a formal project management methodology.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Experience delivering software solutions to a large user base.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Prior project management experience managing multiple complex IS projects simultaneously.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Experience managing people to complete tasks identified in formal project plans.</span></p>
