Japanese Speaking Lead Business Development Representative, APAC – Industry Accounts

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from APAC The opportunity Join the brand-new Industry team as our Lead of Business Development Representative for the APAC region at Unity where you will help build the playbook from the ground up. You’ll work large, untapped territories and shape what “great” looks like—writing and testing messaging, uncovering new logos, and supporting thoughtful expansion in existing accounts. This role is ideal for someone who loves learning how interactive 3D can help drive business outcomes in industries like automotive, healthcare, retail and government. You enjoy outbound prospecting, and want a clear path into sales, partnerships, or account management. You’ll learn fast, iterate even faster, and help turn early conversations into real revenue opportunities while building scalable programs alongside multi-functional partners. What you’ll be doing • Prospect across large, raw territories; implement multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, events); book discovery meetings across mid size to large enterprise companies. • Research target accounts and key decision makers; build campaigns; write, A/B test, and refine messaging. • Qualify inbound leads and route high-intent prospects to Account Executives /Account Managers; maintain clean records in Salesforce and Outreach. • Partner with Account Executives and Marketing to implement territory plans, support events, and follow up promptly. • Onboard, coach and directly manage the BDRs supporting the other APAC regions What we’re looking for • Ability to hunt and identify new key contacts at target accounts • Enthusiastic leader to help shape and build this new function at Unity • Highly organized with attention to detail, curious, and motivated to grow professionally • Some limited travel to internal and external events • Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English to effectively manage stakeholder relationships across our Japan markets You might also have • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teammates. • Familiarity with real-time 3D/interactive technology and how it delivers value for enterprise users. • A test-and-learn mindset with weekly proposals for new messaging experiments. • Proficiency with Salesforce and one sales engagement platform (e.g., Outreach or Salesloft).
