Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry and Claims Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: Supporting and promoting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility. Meeting or exceeding departmental quality and service standards. Delivering routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meeting deadlines appropriately. Making routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines. Determining eligibility and confirming effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines. Leveraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, platforms. Maintaining accurate member records by verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups. Applying policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability, and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes. Considering the customer experience in all actions, recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs, and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness on system work independently.
