<p>The<strong> Key Account Manager </strong>is an experienced manager that builds and cultivates long-term, strategic vertical relationships with large, complex customers and their broader organization. Focusing on assessing customer ongoing needs and fulfilling them with valued packaging solutions that surpass the customer’s expectations, creating a mutual, valued long term strategic partnership.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relationship building within a customer’s hierarchy utilizing company resources and expertise that span across functions</li> <li>Assess customer challenges that present opportunities where we can bring immediate available solutions to solve customer problems</li> <li>Grow share of wallet by leveraging other company packaging offerings across the customer’s business. </li> <li>Understand the importance of sustainability and recycling initiatives are to our customers and the markets they participate in</li> <li>Performing regular Quarterly Business Reviews with your customer to assess progress towards mutual goals and targets with next steps </li> <li>Negotiate long-term agreements that optimize margin while driving unit growth and top line revenue</li> <li>Must have a strong sales hunter mentality with passion to succeed and win</li> <li>Sell and defend the value that you and Mauser bring to the customer </li> <li>Become proficient in company Salesforce CRM and Power BI and utilize it effectively within your area of responsibility</li> <li>Be proactive in pricing strategies and the importance of selling through material cost changes and the value that Mauser provides</li> <li>Work collaboratively across the business to identify and support company initiatives to standardize or reduce cost and waste </li> <li>Assist SIOP to manage sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors strategies</li> <li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies</li> <li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and on time</li> <li>Will require travel of up to 60% of the time</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing or Communications </li> <li>Strong background in Sales and the Packaging industry </li> <li>Proven record of delivering YoY growth</li> <li>Proficient with CRM tools to aid in territory and customer management</li> <li>Strong communication skills both written and oral</li> <li>Proven ability to analyze customer trends, financials and data, and make recommendations on strategy and customer management</li> <li>Minimum 5 yrs of experience managing a large complex customer base</li> <li>Minimum 7 yrs of direct sales experience and a track record of delivering results </li> </ul> <br><span>Do you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
