Our client, a luxurious and highly-rated spa in Salt Lake City, Utah, US , is seeking an experienced and charismatic Lead Esthetician & Spa Manager to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional client experiences. This role combines hands-on esthetic services with comprehensive management responsibilities, requiring a blend of technical skill, leadership acumen, and a deep understanding of the beauty and wellness industry.

Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of advanced esthetic treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, and lash/brow services, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and products. Manage all aspects of spa operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality client experience from booking to follow-up. Lead, train, and motivate the esthetician team, fostering a collaborative and client-focused atmosphere. Develop and implement new treatment protocols and service offerings to stay competitive and meet evolving client demands. Manage inventory of skincare products and spa supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and controlling costs. Handle client inquiries, appointment scheduling, and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the spa environment, ensuring a tranquil and hygienic setting. Drive retail sales of skincare products through expert recommendations and client education. Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Monitor spa performance metrics, including revenue, client retention, and service utilization, and report to upper management. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to the esthetics industry. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and product innovations in esthetics and the broader wellness industry. Qualifications: Valid Esthetician license in the state of Utah. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Esthetician, with a significant portion in a lead or supervisory role. Proven experience in spa management or team leadership. Expertise in performing a broad spectrum of advanced facial and skin treatments. Strong understanding of various skincare ingredients, product lines, and treatment technologies. Excellent client service and communication skills, with a talent for building rapport and trust. Sales-driven with a proven ability to recommend and sell retail products effectively. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask. Knowledge of spa management software and point-of-sale systems. Passion for the beauty and wellness industry and a commitment to continuous learning. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
