Library Specialist
Overview

The Library Specialist shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience relative to the creation, inventory, tracking and destruction of classified material (documents and media) in a secure environment or equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking and maintaining documentation and/or data management systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrate the ability to download and transmit classified messages, conduct classified semi-annual inventories of media and documentation.
- Conduct Audit Log reviews and generate reports with analysis and results.
- Display the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment supporting multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, project leads and senior level leadership in written and oral form.
- Demonstrate self-motivation with a desire to learn new processes and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in logistics, inventory control and tracking.
- Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
