Line Leader

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven leader to join us as a Line Leader, Canning Line within our Packaging Operations team . In this role, you will lead end-to-end operations of a high-speed packaging line, ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while developing a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own end-to-end line performance from product receipt through to finished goods, ensuring delivery of production plans across quality, cost, and service targets.
  • Lead and develop your team through effective coaching, performance management, and capability building.
  • Drive continuous improvement by closing performance gaps and enhancing Packaging Key Performance Indicators using Carlsberg Excellence (Continuous Improvement) methodologies.
  • Ensure operational compliance and safety by adhering to legal, company, and Health, Safety, Security and Environment standards across all processes.
  • Manage resources and budget to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining cost discipline.
  • Implement standard processes and tools aligned with global and regional guidelines to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Champion quality and food safety by ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and internal quality standards across the line
  • Contribute to packaging strategy by collaborating with the management team to drive departmental objectives and long-term improvements

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Food Technology)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role
  • Proven experience in managing people and driving performance improvements
  • Strong understanding of production operations, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
