Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Live-In Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to elderly and disabled clients across the United States. This is an incredible opportunity for international candidates to work in the U.S. with full visa sponsorship. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who require daily assistance and emotional support in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and companionship tailored to individual client needs

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plan instructions

  • Support with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs

  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas

  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate changes in client health to supervisors

  • Foster a nurturing, respectful, and safe environment for clients at all times

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a high level of emotional intelligence

  • Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions precisely

  • Physically able to lift and assist clients with mobility as required

  • Clean background check and willingness to comply with U.S. immigration regulations

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal)

  • Prior experience in elderly care or home health preferred

  • Experience with dementia, Alzheimers, or other chronic conditions is a plus

Working Hours

  • Live-in, full-time position

  • 5–6 days per week with adequate rest periods and scheduled time off

  • 24-hour on-site care with agreed-upon sleep and break hours

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of elder care, basic medical terminology, and hygiene practices

  • Familiarity with handling medical equipment (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs)

  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently

  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a home setting

  • Strong time management and organization skills
