This role will lead the designated client function and deliver a consistent value-driven approach for HMS clients. This role has significant responsibility for managing engagements with varying degrees of complexity. You will effectively communicate and build relationships with client executives and management to deliver engagement objectives. Your strong, lasting trusted advisor business relationships with clients lead to positive references and follow-on work. As a representative of HMS, all Senior Consultants must demonstrate the highest-level integrity, personal values, and Huron Values.<br> </p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p><br>o Operational Performance Support:<br>o Work with client function’s directors/managers to:<br>o Determine the appropriate, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">team-/function-specific</span> key performance indicators to monitor regularly<br>o Develop goals for those key performance indicators<br>o Identify root causes preventing the achievement of any goals<br>o Recognize action items necessary to resolve root causes<br>o Facilitate sustained resolution of the root causes<br>o Implement necessary communication across and outside of function’s teams to promote performance improvement<br>o Collaborate with function leadership to monitor and evaluate front-line staff performance against established productivity, quality, and operational standards<br>o Management & Meeting Oversight:<br>o Oversee key client function meetings<br>o Confirm that key meetings are appropriately focused and effective and hold management team accountable for timely completion of identified action items<br>o If such a meeting is not already in place, establish a recurring meeting with all directors/managers to tackle barriers, discuss risks, and celebrate successes<br>o Summarize key meeting outcomes and action items<br>o Maintain an ongoing list of top improvement opportunities and priorities<br>o Facilitate timely resolution of priorities<br>o Senior Leadership Updates:<br>o Document summary-level performance reports for function on a weekly basis and provide findings to client and Huron senior leadership<br>o Other operational leadership tasks as assigned per client role responsibilities<br><br>CORE QUALIFICATIONS:</p><p><br>• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
