The Events Expert is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and measurement of high-level, business critical events for HP Inc. This position collaborates closely with Marketing Managers, internal partners, and external agencies to help organize domestic and international strategic events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting complex events in a fast-paced environment with full understanding of the value of an integrated business structure among marketing, business units, and sales. Communications across various stakeholders is essential. This candidate must be able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and multi-task. Projects under management are time sensitive, involving frequent concurrent deadlines with dependencies on partner organizations. Therefore, collaboration, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly is critical to keep programs moving effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities: * Reinventing the HP’s event experience – virtually, hybrid and in-person – and be the main contributor to shaping the brand perception, drive customer engagement and grow the sales pipeline. * Create a next level event experience for customers, prospects, partners and industry thought leaders. * Collaborate across teams to support initiatives led by the Marketing Team, ranging from end customer events, sponsored events, partner events to internal events. * Drive Engagement via industry leading content and speakers presented in an innovative way. * Support multiple, simultaneous complex events in a fast-paced environment. * Organize post-program deliverables, including event analysis, reports of budget, attendee feedback. * Work closely with different vendors and partner contractors, tracking work back schedules and deliverables. * Coordinate internal processes & deliverables (i.e. email support, campaign elements & documentation) * Managing marketing budgets and end to end marketing spends as per the plans. * Ensure that the organization’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels. Education and Experience Required: * BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred. * 8+ years marketing experience. Knowledge & Skills: * A full appreciation and understanding of event planning and logistics as it applies to all matters of events from pre-planning to post event evaluation. * Superior written and oral communication skills. * Insight into the Business Travel and Lodging Industry are beneficial * Excellent project management skills to manage multiple initiatives, channels and stakeholders simultaneously. * Self-Motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced global organization environment.
