The Position Medical Science Liaison - Neurology Location: This is a field-based role. Candidates must reside within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to effectively support the assigned territory.A healthier future. It's what drives us to innovate. That's what makes us Roche.As the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neurology , you will strategically position Roche's neurology biomarker portfolio within the Canadian healthcare landscape. You will champion the value of diagnostic testing through impactful presentations and interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Government bodies, and other key stakeholders. A core focus will be on facilitating the integration of innovative biomarkers, particularly those related to Alzheimer's disease, and actively contributing to medical strategies that address the evolving needs of the neurology community.A cornerstone of this role will be the strategic management of relationships with KOLs and the integration of biomarkers into clinical patient journeys. You will also oversee the management of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), ensuring they align with Roche's strategic objectives and are conducted in compliance with all regulations. Your work will have a significant impact on the lives of patients, ensuring they have access to advanced diagnostic solutions that define the future of Alzheimer's care in Canada. The Opportunity: Strategic Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with the Medical, Access, and Policy teams, as well as Roche Pharma colleagues, to develop and execute medical tactical plans for Alzheimer's disease biomarkers. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and build relationships with KOLs, clinical research leaders, neurologists, and health care providers to enhance the perception of diagnostic value in the Canadian market. Clinical Integration: Analyze clinical and patient management algorithms to establish the strategic positioning of neurology diagnostic solutions and facilitate their integration into standard care. Scientific Expertise: Serve as a scientific expert, providing education and facilitating exchange regarding neurology biomarkers through high-level presentations and medical discussions. Market Intelligence: Identify relevant studies and publications in the neurology space, analyzing results and outcomes that may affect clinical use or established standards of care. Research Leadership: Initiate and manage discussions regarding Investigator Initiated Clinical Studies (IIS), guiding them through approval and monitoring progress to support scientific communication strategies. Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Marketing and Access teams to analyze market trends and establish the positioning of high medical value diagnostics in Canada. Who You Are: You hold a Master's degree in Neurosciences. A PhD or MD is considered a definite asset and is highly preferred. You have 5+ years of relevant experience in the area of medical diagnostics and neurology biomarkers. You have a proven track record of collaborating and building influential relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and decision-makers within the neurology or IVD industry. You possess exceptional presentation skills and the ability to effectively convey complex scientific information to diverse medical and government audiences. You are adept at analyzing clinical data and scientific publications to influence patient management algorithms and diagnostic adoption. You are available and willing to travel up to 50% across Canada to engage with stakeholders. Relocation benefits are not available for this position. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Ontario is 105,176.00 and 138,043.50 of hiring range.
