In Specialty Care, you'll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.</p><p></p><p>The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-facing role that serves as a trusted scientific partner to key external experts, conducting frequent scientific exchanges to enhance understanding of Sanofi's products. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.<span> </span></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Main Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p><b>Scientific Engagement:</b> Conduct one-on-one and group interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare stakeholders, sharing medical/scientific information about products and disease management within regulatory guidelines.</p></li><li><p><b>Stakeholder Mapping & Strategy: </b>Identify, profile, and prioritize ~50 stakeholders using the Scientific Engagement Model; develop territory and individual engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.</p></li><li><p><b>Relationship Building:</b> Establish long-term peer relationships with KOLs, payers, and HCPs by demonstrating strong clinical knowledge and articulating the medical value of Sanofi products.</p></li><li><p><b>Congress & Event Presence: </b>Attend scientific congresses, symposia, and organize educational meetings or advisory boards to establish Sanofi's medical presence in the field.</p></li><li><p><b>Medical Information Support:</b> Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information on products and disease states; support speaker training for continued scientific education.</p></li><li><p><b>Insight Generation:</b> Gather feedback from stakeholder interactions, critically evaluate published studies, and report insights that inform Sanofi's medical strategies, messages, and product development.</p></li><li><p><b>Internal Collaboration:</b> Share scientific information and external insights with Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, and other internal teams while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.</p></li><li><p><b>Evidence Generation Support:</b> Identify clinical trial sites, monitor disease epidemiology, support protocol development, and facilitate <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">investigator-sponsored</span> study (ISS) submissions through approved processes.</p></li><li><p><b>Healthcare Policy Awareness:</b> Understand healthcare policies, guidelines, and clinical practices at local, state, and national levels as they relate to the therapeutic area.</p></li><li><p><b>Independent Operation & Compliance:</b> Work remotely with minimal supervision, travel <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">nationally/internationally</span> as needed, and maintain strict regulatory boundaries between non-promotional medical activities and commercial operations.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>About You</b></p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications</p><ul><li><p>Advanced degree in a scientific, technical, or medical field (MD, PharmD, PhD, or MS in a relevant discipline).</p></li><li><p>Must reside in territory.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, Medical Science Liaison role, or relevant clinical practice. Additional years of experience are an asset.
