Summary

If you like staying active, working independently, and making stores look great, this role is a perfect fit. As a Merchandiser with Liberty Coca Cola Beverages, you're the person who makes sure our products are easy for customers to find - stocked, faced, rotated, and looking sharp every day. You'll travel to different retail stores, build positive relationships with store teams, and safely help bring The Look of Success to life by keeping displays clean, organized, and eye catching. This is a great role for someone dependable, self motivated, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment without constant supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure products are stocked, organized, and easy for customers to find on shelves, racks, displays, and in coolers.
  • Transport products from the store's backroom to the sales floor using approved equipment (ie hand trucks, etc.).
  • Build, adjust, refresh, and replenish product displays
  • Set up, change, or take down in store displays to support promotions and seasonal needs.
  • Ensure product signage is correct and easy for shoppers to understand.
  • Keep product areas clean, tidy, and safe, and pull aside any damaged or defective items.
  • Follow plan o grams and instructions to place items to company standards.
  • Act as a Liberty Coca Cola brand ambassador by maintaining a professional appearance, wearing required uniforms, and representing the company with courtesy and professionalism while building positive working relationships with store teams.

Safety Responsibilities
  • Perform all job duties in a manner that upholds personal safety and the safety of coworkers, contractors, and the public.
  • Comply with all Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages safety policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and equipment at all times.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, near misses, injuries, or incidents to a supervisor or through established reporting channels.
  • Participate in required safety training, meetings, audits, and safety improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Stop work and notify leadership if a task cannot be performed safely or if conditions present an imminent danger.
  • Support Liberty Coca-Cola's culture by holding oneself and others accountable for safe behaviors.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence; Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed.
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle available for daily work use.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in tight or crowded spaces.
  • Ability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance and follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Self motivated, dependable, and capable of completing tasks independently and on time.

Physical Requirments

Ability to:
  • Repeatedly lift and carry products up to 50 lbs. from the ground, low shelves, or up to shoulder height.
  • Bend, kneel, stand, and perform continuous physical tasks for several hours at a time, such as stocking low selves or reaching into coolers.
  • Use proper posture and safe body mechanics when lifting and moving cases throughout the store.
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle to travel between stores.
  • Read and follow plan o grams and written set instructions accurately.
  • Work comfortably in backrooms or storage areas with varying temperatures.
