Middleware Administrator, REMOTE (DW26011124)

Datawiz, a GTSC company, seeks a highly experienced and motivated Middleware Administrator. This position is in Arlington, Virginia, but is a REMOTE work position. Responsibilities • The Middleware Admin will support the daily operations, maintenance, implementations, enhancements, and upgrades of Middleware technologies. • Experience with Infosphere DataStage, including Software Installation, upgrade and patches, experience in RHEL, Linux/Unix environments • Knowledge/Experience installing and configuring Middleware products on RedHat Linux and Windows systems. • Knowledge/Experience installing and configuring WebSphere on Red hat Linux and Windows systems. • Work closely with users and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the systems • Work with infrastructure (Network, NT, UNIX and DBA) teams to research performance and other infrastructure related issues • Provides infrastructure support services for production sustainment and on-going development efforts. • Knowledge of Control-M system administration would be helpful. • Knowledge of Azure Cloud environments would be a plus • Knowledge/working experience with OpenText Documentum • Any experience on Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus • Should have proficiency in ITIL operations frameworks. • Managing and documenting system configurations. Required Knowledge/Skills On Any Of The Below Middleware Products • Infosphere (Datastage), Control-M, WebSphere, Documentum, Azure or any other Cloud platforms. Requirements • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or IT related field, or equivalent. • Seven or more years of experience Supporting Windows/Unix/Linux-based middleware. • Experience with multiple Database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL). • Experience with SDLC and Agile development methods (Agile / Scrum / RUP / XP). • Experience in presenting and demonstrating solutions to clients. • Knowledge of LDAP, SSL. SSO/ADFS, TLS and Strong understanding of Java, JDBC, XML, HTTP SSH, SSL. • Experience/knowledge with languages including Python, Jython, Terraform as well as scripting with Shell and Perl. • Knowledge of infrastructure/Networking components (Firewalls, load balancers, proxy Servers). • Ability to multitask, work independently as well as in a team. • Strong attention to detail. • Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
