You will be assigned locally to support <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">project execution where</span> it is most critical to project success. </p><p></p><p>The Global Strategic Accounts – Mission Critical Project Manager is deployed to projects requiring <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">high-level execution leadership,</span> stabilization, or recovery support. You will provide on-site presence during critical phases of major programs and serve as a local resource to branch teams that <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">need additional expertise,</span> governance, and customer-facing leadership. </p><p>This role is highly visible and requires the ability <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">to operate at</span> both the strategic and execution levels - supporting branch teams while directly influencing outcomes on major, complex projects. </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p><ul><li><p>Serve as an extension of ALC leadership, driving consistent project governance, execution standards, and customer experience across assigned projects. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead execution of large, complex, multi-million-dollar building automation programs, ensuring alignment to contract requirements, schedule milestones, and stakeholder expectations. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Own <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">project financial performance,</span> including budget management, EAC development, forecasting cadence, cost controls, and margin protection. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and execute revenue recognition, billing, and cash-collection strategies in coordination with finance and branch leadership. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Establish project strategy and control plans (scope, schedule, quality, safety), including risk identification, mitigation, change control, and recovery planning. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Act as the primary escalation point for customers, general contractors, and internal leadership; <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">drive timely decisions</span> and clear <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">communications. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Align cross-functional teams (engineering, field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning) to deliver coordinated execution and issue resolution. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Step into challenged or high-risk projects and lead <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">stabilization/turnaround</span> efforts, including schedule re-baselining and stakeholder re-alignment. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Establish and enforce best practices in project documentation, reporting, meetings, and executive <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">communications. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Lead resource planning and deployment in coordination with regional and branch leadership to support critical path activities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Provide leadership through critical phases such as mobilization, first-of-kind start-ups, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and customer turnover. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Mentor and develop project managers and field leadership through coaching, standard work, and lessons learned. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications </b></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or GED</p></li><li><p>5+ years of progressive experience in project management, field engineering, engineering, estimating or sales within building automation/controls, HVAC controls, or <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">mission-critical/data</span> center environments.</p></li><li><p>1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite</p></li><li><p>Clean and valid driver’s license</p></li><li><p>Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment above 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications </b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC (Building Automation Controls), Electrical or Mechanical Engineering</p></li><li><p>Advanced capability in project financial management, forecasting, cost-to-complete (EAC), and margin improvement.</p></li><li><p>Proven success managing complex stakeholder environments, including owners, general contractors, commissioning agents, and national/global accounts.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning field/engineering execution to a single integrated plan.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical facilities (e.g., data centers, healthcare, high-availability industrial environments).</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of commissioning and integrated systems testing processes (e.g., L3–L5), including readiness planning and turnover documentation.</p></li><li><p>Experience with ALC building automation platforms, including WebCTRL, and familiarity with controls architecture, networks, and integration concepts.</p></li><li><p>Track record of project recovery/turnaround, including schedule compression, claim/change management, and executive-level reporting.</p></li><li><p>Leadership experience mentoring and developing project managers and field leaders.</p></li><li><p>Professional certification(s) such as PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent strongly preferred.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:left !important"></p><p style="text-align:left !important"><b>Pay Range</b></p>The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually.
