Frio, San Antonio, Texas 78207<br><br><strong>Work Hours</strong><br>7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday<ul><li data-pasted="true">Assists with overseeing and directing daily court operations, including case flow management, docket scheduling, records management, and customer service.</li><li>Manages the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for each assigned division; establishes, within City policy, appropriate service and staffing levels; and allocates resources accordingly.</li><li>Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures.</li><li>Plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff personnel. Responsible for providing professional, technical, and clerical support to Municipal Court Leadership, internal and external court users.</li><li>Manages the development and administration of the department budget; estimates funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures; and manages the preparation and<br>implementation of budgetary adjustments.</li><li>Interviews, selects, supervises, develops, evaluates, counsels, and if necessary, disciplines personnel according to established COSA policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assists in coordinating continuing education and certification requirements of Municipal Court personnel.</li><li>Reviews the performance of court programs to ensure achievement of established goals and compliance with court policy and procedures.</li><li>Acts as liaison for Municipal Court, City Council, City Manager's Office, City Departments, and outside agencies.</li><li>Develops, implements, and maintains court policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistent and lawful operations.</li><li>Responds to inquiries from the public and media about municipal court operations.</li><li>Prepares reports and special projects as directed.</li><li>Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.</li><li>Five (5) years of increasingly responsible government experience, to include two (2) years direct supervisory experience.</li><li>Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility.
