Position OverviewThis position functions as a Network Operations Center (NOC) operator, providing 24/7 monitoring and operational response for enterprise systems, job scheduling platforms, and data center infrastructure. This role ensures the continuity of mission-critical production workloads by overseeing automated schedules, managing job exceptions (job aborts, restarts, force completions, and/or cancellations), and maintaining rigorous job documentation.<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>As a key member of the integrated monitoring team, this position interfaces with campus constituents and technical staff to monitor, troubleshoot, and report on the health of the Data Center and the Enterprise Network. This position is essential to incident management, emergency communications, and disaster recovery operations.Job Description<strong>50% - Enterprise Job Scheduling Management:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Automation Operations & Development: Develops, maintains and implements automation workflows and scripts to streamline university processes.</li><li>Schedule Management & Integrity: Maintains accurate production schedules and proactively communicates deadlines and status updates to appropriate departments.</li><li>Workflow Coordination: Monitors and supports automated data workflows between internal university systems and external vendors. </li><li>Troubleshooting & Process Optimization: Diagnose and resolve scheduling errors and job failures.
