Job Summary
Gulf Marine Welding is seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Offshore Rig Welder to join our dynamic marine engineering team. This position plays a vital role in the construction, maintenance, and repair of offshore oil rigs, vessels, and related marine structures. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in welding under challenging offshore conditions, ensuring structural integrity, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication on offshore oil rigs, platforms, and marine structures according to approved specifications and blueprints.
- Operate various welding equipment, including SMAW, MIG, and TIG machines, ensuring quality welds that meet project and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on offshore structures to prevent corrosion, leaks, or structural damage.
