P&C Insurance Sales Professional (Remote)

Job Overview

The Harpe Agency is in need of a driven, self-motivated individual to develop and deepen relationships with new and current clients. The Insurance Sales Professional achieves this by marketing, reviewing needs, and closing sales with current clients or new prospects. This is a fast-paced position ideal for a well-organized person who enjoys multi-tasking and working with both people and technology.

We recognize individual efforts through a competitive compensation program with numerous bonus opportunities. With progressive commission tiers, our commission plan pays well above industry averages for Top Performing Agents. This is not a career for someone looking to put in minimal effort.

  • Base Salary + Commissions up to 24% + Monthly/Quarterly team and individual Bonuses.
  • $500 Licensing/Signing Bonus
  • Up to $500 Ramp-up Performance Bonus can be earned in your first 90 days.
  • Major Medical benefits are available to all full-time employees.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Requirements

Additional qualifications to consider:

  • Must possess Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Must excel at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.
  • Confident self-starter with the ability manage time independently to maximize working hours effectively and achieve high quote volume.
  • Effective written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

The Insurance Sales Professional position primary areas of focus are:

  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
  • Setting appointments for financial needs reviews with our in-office specialist.
  • Growing revenue by successfully discovering clients needs for additional lines of insurance.
  • Seeking referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
