Position Overview

If so, arenaflex invites you to join our team as a Part-Time Remote Chat Moderator. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of arenaflex's official Discord community.

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be on the front lines of community management, ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe, welcoming, and engaging space for all members. This is a part-time, fully remote position that offers flexible scheduling, making it perfect for individuals seeking work-life balance or those looking to supplement their income with meaningful part-time work.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the arenaflex community management team, your responsibilities will include:

    Content Monitoring & Moderation:

    Actively monitor chat conversations in real-time to identify and address content that violates arenaflex's community guidelines and Discord server rules. This includes reviewing text messages, user interactions, and shared media to ensure compliance with our standards.

      Policy Enforcement:

      Execute appropriate enforcement actions for rule violations, including editing or deleting inappropriate messages, issuing warnings to users, temporarily muting offenders, and permanently banning users who demonstrate repeated or severe violations of community standards.

        Incident Investigation:

        Thoroughly investigate reports submitted by community members regarding potential rule violations. This requires documenting incidents, gathering relevant evidence, and making impartial decisions based on established guidelines.

          User Communication:

          Professionally communicate with server members regarding rule violations, moderation decisions, and appeals. Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor while enforcing community standards.

            Documentation & Reporting:

            Maintain detailed logs of all moderation actions, including warnings issued, users muted, messages deleted, and bans enacted. Submit regular reports to the community management team regarding emerging trends or recurring issues.

              Policy Recommendation:

              Collaborate with the community management team to identify gaps in current guidelines and recommend improvements to enhance community safety and user experience.

                New Member Onboarding:

                Assist with welcoming new members to the server, answering basic questions about community guidelines, and helping newcomers navigate the arenaflex Discord space.

                  Event Support:

                  During special events, webinars, or live sessions, provide additional moderation support to ensure smooth, orderly proceedings and positive participant experiences.

                  Essential Qualifications

                  To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

                    Age Requirement:

                    Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.

                      Educational Background:

                      Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational credential.

                        Technical Proficiency:

                        Familiarity with Discord platform features, including server setup, role management, and moderation bots. Comfortable navigating Discord's desktop and mobile applications.

                          Availability:

                          Must be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedules based on community activity peaks (typically evenings and weekends).

                            Communication Skills:

                            Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex policies clearly and professionally.

                              Decision-Making Ability:

                              Sound judgment and the ability to make fair, consistent moderation
