Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a Part-Time Remote Patient Access Representative (Pharmacy) to join our growing healthcare support team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless access to pharmacy services and prescription support. You will assist patients in verifying insurance coverage, processing medication authorizations, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records—all while delivering exceptional customer service from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and pharmacy teams to facilitate smooth prescription access.

  • Verify patient insurance details, prescription eligibility, and prior authorization requirements.

  • Assist patients with medication refills, billing inquiries, and coverage verification.

  • Process electronic or telephonic requests for medication approvals and coordinate with insurance providers when needed.

  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the system while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and patient communications.
