## Join Securitas Security as a Part Time Weekend Security Officer We're looking for customer service-driven individuals to join our security team in Salina, KS. At Securitas, you'll have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving elite training in safety and security. Our dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff will foster your growth and advancement within the company. ### What the Role Involves You'll conduct patrols both inside and outside client premises, sometimes in various weather conditions and different types of terrain. This position involves frequent interactions with client employees and guests, where you'll need to maintain a calm and professional demeanor. A key part of your job will be identifying and reporting safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity. You'll provide detailed report writing and carry out specific tasks and duties as required for your assigned site. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a team environment to ensure site and organizational goals are achieved daily. You must be ready to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment, using appropriate escalation when needed. ### What We're Looking For You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or GED, or be willing to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer and technology skills are needed for this position. A customer service background is preferred, and security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus. Above all, you need to be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner, with great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of your shift. All candidates must be willing to participate in our pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation. A valid driver certification is required. ### Compensation and Benefits The position offers $14.50-$20.00 per hour with weekly pay.
