BUT we've just begun to scratch the surface... And that's where YOU come in... This is a Hybrid (Piscataway, NJ) part-time (20-25hrs/week) position on our sourcing team. Hourly Rate $19.00 The Big Picture The Purchasing Data Entry will support the Supply Chain Operations of SwagUp by facilitating the timely and accurate procurement of goods from our supplier base with great attention to detail. The Purchasing Data Entry will provide exceptional customer service and communication to both internal and external stakeholders. The Purchasing Data Entry will accurately input product and supplier data based on incoming requests from supply chain, sales, and marketing teams while adhering to all compliance regulations. They will also be responsible for routine communication with vendors as well as invoice reconciliation. The Day-to-Day à ⠢ Ensure a smooth full-cycle process starting when orders are submitted until items are received in the warehouse. à ⠢ Review and prioritize incoming purchase orders from supply chain, sales, and marketing teams. à ⠢ Accurately input customer details (files, locations, dimensions, ink colors, shipping addresses, sizes etc.) à ⠢ Maintain accurate records of vendor agreements, compliance documents, and product specifications to ensure consistent record keeping. à ⠢ Address product concerns and questions regarding pricing and decoration capabilities. à ⠢ Review and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and received goods. à ⠢ Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoicing promptly. à ⠢ Monitor the status of open orders and proactively identify any potential delays or issues. à ⠢ Ensure all product and supplier information is accurately entered and maintained in the system. à ⠢ Work closely with the sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on order requirements and priorities. à ⠢ Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss procurement strategies and performance. à ⠢ Communicate any general supplier announcements or updates to the revenue teams. à ⠢ Other miscellaneous tasks as the business needs demand.
