While primarily focused on group movement payments, payments for transient travelers will also be required.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Payment Processing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process outgoing payments, including invoices and electronic transactions</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update tracking systems regularly</li> <li>Verify payment details and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner</li> <li>Prepare and organize financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets</li> <li>Monitor payment schedules and follow up on outstanding items</li> </ul> <p><strong>Customer Service:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Communicate with client regarding payment status</li> <li>Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures</li> <li>Perform general clerical duties such as data entry and document management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Vendor Liaison:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain relationship with hoteliers and other vendors payments are made do</li> <li>Have contacts for prompt issue resolution</li> </ul> <p><strong>Internal:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Meet with Service Delivery manager weekly and monthly to review payment processing</li> <li>Work with team agents when a CMC request is made to pay for an ad-hoc request</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years’ experience in the travel industry (strong knowledge of Sabre GDS is required)</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal skills</li> <li>Excellent customer service skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Strong Microsoft office skills (word, excel)</li> <li>Consistently demonstrates master of the guiding principles in daily work habits</li> <li>Knows when to escalate to a leader</li> <li>Strong understanding of key ALTOUR initiatives </li> </ul> <p><strong>PAY AND BENEFITS</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Our benefit offerings include choice of two medical plans and two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), company-paid life insurance and AD&D, optional additional life insurance and AD&D, disability insurance, paid parental leave, paid time off, 401k Plan with company match, discounted employee travel options, access to LinkedIn Learning webinars and courses.
