Role Overview: As a Principal, India Strategy & Business Development at Nike India, you will report directly to the General Manager, India and be a key member of the Nike India Leadership Team. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to laying the foundations for the next phase of growth for Nike India by designing and scaling innovative business models. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and translate business strategy into a clear business model for the India marketplace - Set goals with far-reaching impact on the evolution of the business and lay the foundations for retail growth in India - Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a diverse, fast-changing environment while being a collaborative team player - Manage complex issues effectively and drive stakeholder alignment across various regions - Provide strategic planning, research, and advisory support to senior leadership - Drive rigorous analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-term business strategies and key market initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Strategy, or a related field - Minimum 12 years of relevant strategy, business development, or management consultancy experience - Expertise in managing rapid-growth, consumer-facing digital and/or retail businesses - Strong vision on the future of retail experiences, with a focus on commerce and the interaction across physical and digital channels - Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills - Very strong understanding of the retail landscape and various business models in India Additionally, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable outcomes, applying strong business judgment, and contributing to the long-term accelerated growth of Nike in the India marketplace.
