Commerce Trust is a division of Commerce Bank.</p><p></p><p><b>About This Job</b></p><p></p><p>The main purpose of this job is to develop, manage, retain and expand client relationships within the affluent market segment with responsibility for loan and deposit grown, revenue generation, and revenue growth.</p><p></p><p><b>Essential Functions</b></p><ul><li><p>Create and execute a written marketing plan with the aim of developing/expanding a portfolio of qualified client relationships through an active calling effort targeting individuals whose financial status falls within the parameters defined as the private banking target market</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities for the sale of investment management products and trust services</p></li><li><p>Prepare and deliver client presentations</p></li><li><p>Manage a portfolio of more than $10,000,000 and more than 100 relationships</p></li><li><p>Make decisions within assigned lending authority or make and defend recommendations for the extension of credit that exceeds authority</p></li><li><p>Manage banking component of client relationships in order to avoid principal loss</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required</b></p><ul><li><p>Intermediate knowledge of the banking industry</p></li><li><p>Ability to meet specific sales and marketing goals</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirements</p></li><li><p>Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities</p></li><li><p>Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values</p></li><li><p>Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook  </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education & Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required</p></li><li><p>5+ years financial services industry or commercial banking/retail personal banking experience required</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>For this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $72,500 to $123,500 annually.
