This role is within our A&B Process Systems division within JBT Marel. We are leaders in the design, fabrication, automation and installation of stainless-steel process systems used in a variety of industries such as dairy, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. We are located in Stratford, Wisconsin. You will report to the Site Procurement Manager. As a Buyer on our procurement team, you will ensure that parts, assemblies, materials, and equipment are purchased and ready scheduled installations scheduled across the US. Being part of this team, it is important tyou will rely on being organized, agile, and system savvy. On any given day you will be responsible for Purchase order management, supplier development, and negotiating pricing options. Utilizing strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to work with agility and flexibility to priority to manage installation timelines. You will source materials, components, and services required to support installations across the US. You will determine vendors geographically located to support installations of scheduled equipment. You will work to control costs, ensure quality compliance, and utilize systems to track deliverables. You will be involved in inventory replenishment strategy Update ERP system (JD Edwards) to reflect current status of all action items. You will be responsible for vendor onboarding, part number creation and maintenance, and planning parameter maintenance for all serviced suppliers and replenishment locations. Minimum requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent experience working in a Buyer/procurement role. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems Proven negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Travel & Location This position is in Stratford, Wisconsin.
