Responsibilities

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Architect (Engineer 4) to design, develop, and scale an AI-driven security automation engine that will integrate directly into Keysight’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role will lead the development of an intelligent system capable of:

  • Understanding the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and shifting left automation of remediation tasks earlier in the SDLC
  • Consuming and interpreting scan data from our vulnerability assessment platform
  • Automatically generating exploit and testing scripts using AI
  • Validating vulnerability existence with high confidence and reproducibility earlier in the SDLC
  • Feeding verified results back into the UI with reliability, auditability, and traceability
  • Providing AI-assisted code patching, secure coding recommendations, and CI/CD automation to accelerate mitigation workflows earlier in the SDLC

You will work closely with product owners, security researchers, and full stack engineers to shape Keysight’s next generation Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as we shift left and integrate autonomous security tooling. You will also partner with the Product Security and Compliance teams to ensure that the new AI automation capabilities are seamlessly incorporated into Keysight’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), strengthening validation accuracy, reducing friction, improving release cadence and resulting in faster release cycles across Keysight products.

About the Team:

You will collaborate with product owners, security researchers, and full stack engineers to build advanced autonomous security capabilities that enhance Keysight’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Integration

  • Seamlessly integrate security automation into Keysight’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Enable ingestion, normalization, and correlation across Black Duck SCA, Nessus Vulnerability Management, Burp Suite DAST, SAST tools, and product telemetry

AI-Driven Vulnerability Verification & Automation

  • Design and implement AI models that interpret vulnerability scan data and autonomously generate exploit scripts
  • Build automated validation pipelines using sandboxed and orchestrated environments
  • Develop classification and scoring logic with strong confidence metrics
  • Implement guardrails, safety classifiers, and auditing for safe LLM operations

False Positive Reduction & Evidence Quality

  • Build multi‑agent reasoning workflows to reduce false positives
  • Produce high-fidelity Vulnerability Verification Evidence Packages (VVEP) with logs, traces, and reproducible exploit outcomes

AI Assisted Code Patching & Remediation

  • Deliver AI-generated secure code recommendations and automated patching workflows
  • Integrate remediation automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Penetration Test Augmentation

  • Support AI-enhanced penetration testing, API fuzzing, and dynamic security validation
  • Work with security researchers to improve exploit reliability and detection precision

Leadership & Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product teams and engineering leadership to ensure validated results drive actionable remediation
  • Collaborate with two L3 engineers (pipeline automation and vulnerability analysis) and guide technical direction
  • Influence secure development practices and drive adoption of security automation across product teams

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of R&D experience, with a strong preference for AI and security‑focused work.
  • Experience with secure coding, code reviews, and software architecture for security across multiple projects or product lines.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
  • Python proficiency, security automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and other security tools.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, drive architectural decisions, and lead technical initiatives.

We Value:

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Hands‑on AI application development experience
  • Practical experience with AI/ML‑based security automation or Agentic AI/LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace)
  • Exposure to cloud security or container/Kubernetes security in the context of software development pipelines.
  • Experience with penetration‑testing methodologies (OWASP, PTES, MITRE ATT&CK)
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD platforms
  • A passion for continuous improvement and learning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
