Position: Dyeing Production Supervisor/Leader

Working Hour: Fixed Normal Hours (Either Morning Shift or Night Shift)

Key responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met with high quality and efficiency
  • Schedule Management: Coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly production targets and shift schedules.
  • Workflow Optimization: Assigning tasks and managing resources to ensure a smooth and efficient production line.
  • Bottleneck Resolution: Identifying and troubleshooting issues that cause delays or reduced productivity.
  • Standard Compliance: Monitoring production outputs to ensure they meet strict company and client quality specifications.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the safe use of machinery and coordinating repairs or routine maintenance.
  • Process Improvement: Implementing measures to improve productivity and product quality, often using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or 6S.
  • Staff Development: Training, mentoring, and coaching both new and existing employees on job duties and safety procedures.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring employee productivity and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Safety Enforcement: Ensuring all staff adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
  • Data Reporting: Preparing accurate performance and progress reports for management, including tracking KPIs like output volume and waste.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a diploma or equivalent; however, a bachelor's degree in textile engineering or industrial engineering is highly preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a textile or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role is essential for this position.
  • Strong ability to lead diverse teams and communicate instructions clearly to both staff and management.
  • Critical thinking skills to address production bottlenecks and technical glitches quickly.
