In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to support the annual release process for our SilverLake and 20/20 core platforms, along with other Jack Henry products. You will also provide ongoing support to customers across the United States. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who can thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. Please do not apply if at any time you will need immigration support now or in the future (i.e., H-1B, STEM OPT Training Plans, etc.).</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.</li><li>Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.</li><li>Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.</li><li>Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.</li><li>Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.</li><li>Provides programming support for various interfaces.</li><li>Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.</li><li>Creates programming documentation as requested; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.</li><li>May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates.</li><li>Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.</li><li>Mentors, trains, develops, and provides support to less experienced co-workers.</li><li>May perform other job duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience or programming experience either professionally or educationally.</li><li>Must have experience programming with any version of RPG.</li><li>Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience or programming experience either professionally or educationally.</li><li>Must have experience programming with any version of RPG.</li><li>Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>IBMi development experience.</li><li>Able to meet aggressive deadlines.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the financial industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of applicable Change Management Systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay range and compensation package</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $56,800-$89,500 and will be determined based on location and experience level.
