Project Management Specialist (General Project Mgmt) Company The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking an Executive Assistant (Level 4 or Level 5), also known as Chief of Staff, to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position reports to the Business Transformation Vice President (VP) and supports the program's leadership team on long-range strategies, organizational goals, and initiatives. Position Responsibilities Manages business operations for VP and program leadership team to ensure the program runs efficiently and effectively Works closely with the program VP to enable outcomes in the areas of planning, execution, communication and operations of the organization Anticipates the needs of the VP for scheduled events, presentations, discussions, and recurring processes; researches, prepares, socializes, and reviews materials as appropriate to the event Manage schedule autonomously to support the needs of the VP for scheduled events, presentations, discussions, and recurring processes; researches, prepares, socializes, and reviews materials as appropriate to the event Fields and completes emergent actions from the VP and other priority sources Prepares and coordinates key internal meetings and external high-level customer engagements including local, state and national legislative visitors Coordinates across the Business Transformation leadership team through strategic project management and supports operational efficiency of the organization Identifies internal challenges and opportunities for leadership team awareness Works special assignments and projects as needed This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 5+ years of experience briefing customers and leadership 5+ years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics 5+ years of experience in a role that required organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects Must be willing to occasionally travel domestically, work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree or higher. 3+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations 3+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion 5+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project Strong presentation skills and the capability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings Level 4 & 5 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
