Project Manager / Remote Part- Time ( Denver, CO), 8+ Months Contract - Suncap Technology - Denver, CO - work from home job Company Suncap Technology Job description Job Description Remote Role- No Location preference This is a unique opportunity for a part-time Project Manager (no more than 26 hours per week for 39 weeks) working on one project across multiple Colorado agencies. Several agencies will be collaborating on a project to utilize digital technologies to move towards electronic transmission of a citation. We require a Project Manager for completion of a joint multi-agency process development which will require the PM to facilitate development timelines and then coordinate development efforts with each partner, including Change Management strategies. Some of the day to day opportunities will include Collaborating with agencies to develop requirements, defining project scope and objectives, analyzing project requirements and determining best approach to complete project using existing and/or new approaches, developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, managing the project budget, and developing plans for transition to operations Technical writing Identifying resources and participants needed to achieve project goals Determining and assessing requests for additional staff and/or contractors and works with outside service providers where needed to complete technology projects Negotiating with department managers, when necessary, regarding the support of required personnel to ensure project continuity through completion Facilitating cross functional teams and customer organizations and vendors Providing project management and direction to ensure overall success by developing project implementation plans including project business benefit, scope, objectives, schedule, deliverables, and success criteria that support business goals in collaboration with management and project sponsors Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans Manages relationships with customers and vendors to develop a thorough understanding of core business functions and align project with overall business objectives Minimum Qualifications Four (4) years experience that includes a combination of IT and/or IT project management for large, complex projects and/or project portfolio management, which demonstrates strong relationship building and management skills, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Experience must also include Experience leveraging tools such as Tableau or BI to make data driven decisions using a variety of project management tools and methodologies. Technical Writing of Business processes and mapping of business functions to services. Defining and executing large, complex technology programs. Strong leadership skills. Solid understanding of change management and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams and stakeholders.
