Project Manager, Supply Chain Services

<p><b>JOB OVERVIEW:</b></p><p>This position is responsible for small to large projects in support of Supply Chain Services initiatives. These initiatives will primarily be customer-facing and involve engagement with customers, sales, Supply Chain Services, service providers, business stakeholders, and outside suppliers.</p><p></p><p><b>KEY <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">RESPONSIBILITIES: </span> </b></p><ul><li><p>Responsible for all project management activities which include documentation of tasks, prioritization of tasks, and creating timelines for duration of tasks required to complete a project on time.</p></li><li><p>Lead project management activities and is responsible for the development and execution of multiple projects across multiple disciplines.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for the development and maintenance of a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) dashboard that can be accessed by all project stakeholders. Submittal of weekly or bi-weekly updates that communicate performance to plan.</p></li><li><p>Manage Henry Schein, customer, and outside supplier resources to ensure project deliverables and objectives are achieved.</p></li><li><p>Manage the project budget to include the capture of project costs, capital expenditures, invoice backup, billing, and reconciliation to plan and target profitability.</p></li><li><p>Utilize Six Sigma and Lean principles to define processes and continuously improve both customer operations and internal service delivery operations.</p></li><li><p>Participate in customer focused Kaizen events pre-project to assist in identifying future projects and capture of initiative objectives.</p></li><li><p>Utilize project management applications (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.) to manage tasks, and track performance to plan.</p></li><li><p>Accept responsibility for the successful achievement of project goals and outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure strong communication with all levels of the customer organization and the internal Henry Schein organization.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:  </b></p><ul><li><p>Knowledgeable in all areas of supply chain management, particularly in the “last mile” of the demand fulfillment process.</p></li><li><p>Ability to develop and present executive level presentations.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical skills and ability to listen to others.</p></li><li><p>Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Project Management Professional (CPMP) certification preferred.</p></li><li><p>Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma Strongly Preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:  </b></p><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of industry practices</p></li><li><p>High proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures</p></li><li><p>Good <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">planning/organizational</span> skills and techniques</p></li><li><p>Good decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Good presentation and public speaking skills</p></li><li><p>Good interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Good conflict resolution skills and ability to deliver difficult messages</p></li><li><p>Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company, begin to build partnerships externally</p></li><li><p>Resolve complex issues in effective ways</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:  </b></p><p>Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing responsibility in terms of any applicable professional experience.</p><p></p><p><b>PREFERRED EDUCATION:  </b></p><p>Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
