Let’s build the future of Yum! together!<br><br><strong>About The Job<br><br></strong>The Property Tax Analyst supports and collaborates with multiple cross-functional teams: Shared Services (Tax Compliance, AP, AR, Lease and Project Costing), Corporate Tax, Brand Legal, Development, Payroll Tax, Brand Reporting and Finance. As a Property Tax Analyst, you will also coordinate with third party co-sourcing vendors, state and local taxing districts, and business licensing offices. Providing outstanding customer service, interacting directly with all levels within the organization and suppliers and service providers.<br><br><em>This role is fully remote but will need to be located in the Greater Louisville area.<br><br></em><strong>Salary Range<br><br></strong>$60,200-$62,000 + bonus eligibility. <em><strong>This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.<br><br></strong></em><strong>Primary Responsibilities<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate and prepare data upload from General Ledger sources to third party co-sourcing partner; review variances; research and clear outstanding items for property tax within time constraints.</li><li>Posting General Ledger/payment data to Excel spreadsheets for tracking property tax payments</li><li>Journal preparation for General Ledger Accounts</li><li>Account Reconciliation knowledge and understanding.</li><li>Work with Internal and External partners, districts for property tax tracking and payments; resolve outstanding issues.</li><li>Prepare AP payment requests.</li><li>Process mail and documentation requests, outstanding property tax notices.</li><li>Work with Internal and Field staff to maintain property tax records.</li><li>Prepare Open/Close Store reports on period to ensure all properties reported.</li><li>Additional projects, documentation requests from Internal and External Partners<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Requirements<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Associates degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or 5+ years of relevant experience</li><li>Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills are necessary.</li><li>Demonstrated diligence and ability to meet deadlines managing or escalating conflicting priorities while experiencing possible frequent interruptions in extremely fast paced and high-volume environments.</li><li>Initiative-taking with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and drive change. </li><li>Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting/business/finance</li><li>Strong systems and software aptitude (JD Edwards, Reports Now, and Oracle helpful).</li><li>Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong>Employees (and their eligible family members) may enroll in the following types of insurance coverage: medical, dental, vision, legal, and accidental death and dismemberment, as well as FSA/HSA (depending on enrolled medical plan).
