PURCHASER SUPERVISOR

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Fresh graduate welcoming to apply.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is an added advantage
  • Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle ERP
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Good understanding of supply chain processes and inventory control
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the purchasing team to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Plan and execute procurement strategies to support production requirements
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines
  • Review and approve Purchase Orders (PO) in compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate closely with production, warehouse, and finance departments
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Resolve issues related to supply delays, quality problems, or discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly procurement reports, cost analysis, and performance tracking
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal procedures and audit requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
