Quantity Surveyor

The role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Quantity Surveyor to join the team at RECT QUANTITY SURVEYING CONSULTANT SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in the delivery of construction projects, providing essential quantity surveying support.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates and budget reports
  • Supporting the team in contract administration, valuation and payment processes
  • Analysing and validating cost data, and identifying potential cost savings
  • Working collaboratively with clients, contractors.
  • Contributing to the development of procurement strategies and risk management plans
  • Undertaking site inspections and measurements as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and project documentation
What we're looking for
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Mins 3 years experience in a quantity surveying, ideally within the construction industry
  • Fresh Graduate also welcome to apply (Junior QS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and industry regulations
