At WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we seek to identify, attract and recruit the most qualified talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the global workplace.</strong></p> <p> </p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p><strong>Recruiter - Contract role 18 Months with a possibility of becoming a permanent role.</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: Pittsburgh region for hybrid in-office at the Westinghouse Cranberry Township, PA Location </strong></p> <p><strong>Option for out of the area (over 50 miles) working remote</strong></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Source, interview, and select applicants for entry level, technical,, internal and external positions.</li> <li>Meet with hiring managers to determine job responsibilities.</li> <li>Write job descriptions.</li> <li>Match applicants to job openings.</li> <li>Source for future job openings.</li> <li>List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career websites, and other possible channels.</li> <li>View applications.</li> <li>Call applicants and perform phone screens.</li> <li>Set up on site interviews and Teams interviews.</li> <li>Instruct applicants on the nature of the job and whom they will speak with during the interview.</li> <li>Arrange for travel and lodging.</li> <li>Facilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicant.</li> <li>Interview applicants.</li> <li>Hand out and grade assessments.</li> <li>Participate in final selection of applicants.</li> <li>Create a portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager.</li> <li>Send background checks on applicants and identify potential red flags.</li> <li>Inform candidate of our decision.</li> <li>Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits.</li> <li>Inform applicants not chosen of company's decision.</li> <li>Keep track of all applications, file important notations such as gender, race, and ethnicity.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.</li> <li>3+ years of agency and/or corporate recruiting experience including LinkedIn <ul> <li>Prior recruitment experience with Technical, Engineering, IT and related industry roles.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Applicant Tracking Experience and Staffing experience. <ul> <li>Prior SAP/SuccessFactors experience preferred.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Our Safety Pledge to You:</strong></p> <p>If you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
