Regional Director of Operations – Mid-Atlantic Region

Job Description:

  • Drive year-over-year same-store sales growth while optimizing cost management to meet and exceed annual business goals.
  • Define and implement key compliance standards, expectations, and performance metrics to align franchisees with brand and operational guidelines.
  • Lead an annual franchisee planning process, collaborating with owners to set revenue and profit goals and developing action plans for success.
  • Assess franchisee business strengths, gaps, and opportunities, providing tailored strategies and best practices to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Oversee the OSR/Audit process to ensure consistency, reliability, and operational excellence across franchise locations.
  • Deliver differentiated support based on the unique needs of single-unit operators, multi-unit franchisees, new locations, and varying revenue tiers.
  • Develop and implement a best practices roadmap to enable scalable, proven strategies for franchisee success.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in multi-unit business operations or franchise operations, including at least 3 years in a field role.
  • Must be physically located within commutable distance to the Raleigh, NC area or willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and coach teams to achieve business goals.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence key stakeholders, including franchise owners and vendor executives.
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to large and small groups.
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate business performance, identify key learnings, and develop data-driven strategies for improvement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% locally and nationwide to support franchisees, attend regional and national meetings, and represent the brand at industry events.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and brand training.
  • Integrity and ethical behavior to build trust and credibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
