Regional Retail Operations Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Retail Operations Manager to oversee multi-store retail operations, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in retail operations, store expansion, manpower planning, sales performance analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day retail operations across multiple outlets/markets to ensure smooth execution and compliance with company standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and service consistency.
  • Ensure stores maintain high operational standards, cleanliness, merchandising, and customer experience.

Multi-Store / Regional Management

  • Manage performance of multiple stores across local and regional markets.
  • Provide operational support for overseas markets and ensure alignment with headquarters' expectations.
  • Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.

Store Expansion &

  • Project Management

  • Lead new store opening projects, including planning, setup, staffing, training, and readiness tracking.
  • Coordinate relocation, renovation, and closure of stores where required.
  • Support market expansion initiatives into new countries or regions.

Sales &

  • Performance Management

  • Monitor sales trends, store KPIs, productivity, and profitability.
  • Analyze store performance data and recommend action plans to improve sales and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to execute promotions and campaigns.

Inventory &

  • Cost Control

  • Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, replenishment, and stock movement planning.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.
  • Manage store operating costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Team Leadership &

  • Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop store management teams to achieve business targets.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning.
  • Build a high-performance and customer-focused retail culture.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as key liaison between HQ, store teams, landlords, vendors, HR, Finance, and external partners.
  • Ensure smooth communication and execution of business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, with at least 3 years in multi-store or regional management role.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs, manpower planning, sales analysis, and inventory control.
  • Proven experience in store openings, expansion projects, and operational setup.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to travel regionally when required.
