Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Certified Professional Coder (CPC) – Entry Level to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately review and assign codes for medical procedures and diagnoses from patient records.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and healthcare industry standards.

  • Perform quality checks and audits to ensure coding accuracy and completeness.

  • Support documentation improvement initiatives by providing feedback on record-keeping practices.

  • Meet deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification from AAPC.

  • Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and coding software.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Entry-level position: 0–2 years of medical coding experience preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with healthcare documentation and coding practices is a plus.

  • Internship or coursework in medical coding, health information management, or related fields is advantageous.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote schedule with flexible hours.

  • Standard working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (can vary based on project or client requirements).
