Remote Emergency Management Analyst

In this role, you will play a crucial part in building relationships among various government entities and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration during emergencies. Your efforts will be pivotal in facilitating information sharing and operational communication, helping organizations navigate challenges while maintaining economic resilience during crises. Your expertise in analyzing supply chain dynamics and engaging with local partners will be essential to creating effective emergency management strategies. Accountabilities • Facilitate collaboration between federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and industry stakeholders. • Analyze and present economic impacts using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools. • Develop collaborative actions with local economies affected by disasters. • Include industry partners in emergency management planning and training. • Communicate and coordinate efforts between federal entities and local businesses. • Assess and improve emergency management integration processes. • Document best practices for standard operating procedures. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required. • 6+ years of experience in emergency disaster management. • Proficient in GIS tools such as ArcGIS. • Familiarity with FEMA or DHS operations. • Knowledge of the National Response Framework (NRF) and the National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF). • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
