Remote IT Service Desk Analyst - Singapore | Full-Time

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote IT Service Desk Analyst to join our growing team in Singapore. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing technical support and troubleshooting for our clients hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, able to deliver timely and effective solutions in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or chat.

  • Log, track, and manage support requests using ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.

  • Guide end-users through step-by-step solutions and ensure user satisfaction.

  • Monitor IT systems and proactively identify potential issues or risks.

  • Maintain documentation of processes, solutions, and technical knowledge for team reference.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and network infrastructure.

  • Proficiency in Windows and/or macOS environments; experience with Linux is a plus.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and ITSM frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining team collaboration.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or service desk role.

  • Prior experience in a remote work environment is highly desirable.

  • Experience in troubleshooting software, hardware, and networking issues across multiple platforms.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.

  • Standard Singapore office hours (with flexibility for on-call support if required).

  • Remote work setup; work-from-home equipment and guidelines provided.
