Remote QA / Software Testing Intern (No Experience Required)

Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our dynamic team as Remote QA / Software Testing Interns. You will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, documenting results, and collaborating with our development team to enhance overall product quality. No prior experience is required — just a willingness to learn, strong analytical thinking, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications under supervision.

  • Identify, document, and report software defects using testing tools and issue trackers.

  • Execute test cases, verify fixes, and validate new builds.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to improve product functionality and performance.

  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to understand product features and testing requirements.

  • Support the development of test plans and contribute to continuous process improvement.

  • Learn and implement QA best practices and modern testing methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
