Job Summary

FutureTech Manufacturing, a leading innovator in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will operate, program, and maintain robotic welding systems to produce high-quality metal components for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in automated welding processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce precise welds according to technical specifications.
  • Set up, program, and adjust robotic welding machines for different jobs and production requirements.
  • Inspect and verify weld quality using visual inspection and measurement tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including shift logs, welding parameters, and quality reports.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in welding, robotics, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Proficiency in robotic welding systems (FANUC, ABB, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and industry standards (MIG, TIG, or spot welding).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial welding environments.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with programming or troubleshooting robotic systems is highly preferred.
  • Previous exposure to lean manufacturing or production efficiency processes is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed to meet production targets.
