Position Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer with a strong back-end focus to design, implement, and optimize personalized email campaigns. This role involves building automations, developing Journey Builder templates, and managing API integrations to deliver high-quality, data-driven customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with program owners, developers, marketers, and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance engagement and conversion through scalable marketing solutions.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in SQL, AMPscript, HTML, CSS, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) with a solid understanding of marketing automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Build and manage API integrations with external systems.

  • Develop and maintain custom scripts using AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL.

  • Leverage Salesforce and integrated data sources to deliver personalized communications.

  • Ensure technical accuracy, cross-platform compatibility, and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and industry standards.

  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

  • Participate in code reviews and document technical processes/configurations.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Utilize Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio to design and optimize campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Back-End Developer within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Strong technical skills in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and API integrations.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and data models.

  • Experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
