SAP Master Data Migration Lead (S/4HANA + MDG support)

Key Responsibilities • Lead migration execution using a rolling‑wave, backlog‑driven approach (fixed time/budget, variable scope). • Own the SAP master data migration domain, including • Material Master (including bundle component modeling) • Customer Master (including Sold‑to alignment) • Pricing Master (PIRs and condition records) • Define and execute data quality and correctness gates, including foreign key validation, referential integrity checks, hierarchy validation, and cross‑system reconciliations. • Partner with integration/iPaaS teams to ensure reliable publication of SAP master data to downstream systems. • Support SIT/UAT cycles through data validation packs, defect triage, and iterative data reloads. • Prepare for cutover activities delta loads, freeze windows, reconciliation sign‑offs, and rollback planning. • Provide hyper care support during the first two weeks post‑go‑live, including monitoring, triage, remediation, documentation, and handoff. Required Skills & Experience • 8–12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on S/4HANA master data migration expertise. • Deep knowledge of SAP master data structures, including material master, product hierarchy, item categories, and customer/sold‑to structures. • Strong experience with SAP pricing constructs (PIRs, condition records) and associated data load methodologies. • Demonstrated ability in data reconciliation, integrity checks, and root‑cause troubleshooting. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely and effectively with client teams. Nice to Have • Experience with SimpleMDG or SAP MDG workflows (testing/support). • Familiarity with Salesforce data model concepts and cross‑system ID alignment. • Exposure to phased migration or coexistence strategies (new vs. legacy data lanes). The base salary for this position is $ 106,087 - 166,709 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
