Saturday-Sunday Transcriptionist – Legal & Medical Audio

Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Saturday-Sunday Transcriptionist to convert legal and medical audio recordings into accurate, well-formatted text. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong command of language, excellent listening skills, and experience in legal or medical transcription. The position is remote and part-time, focusing on weekend work, providing flexibility while contributing to essential document processing. Key Responsibilities Listen to and accurately transcribe audio recordings from legal and medical sources. Ensure transcripts meet formatting, grammar, and punctuation standards. Review and edit transcripts for clarity, completeness, and accuracy. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information. Meet deadlines and manage workload independently during weekend hours. Use transcription software and tools efficiently for fast and precise results. Communicate with project managers regarding unclear audio or content discrepancies. Required Skills and Qualifications Proficient in English with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Strong typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy. Familiarity with legal and/or medical terminology. Experience using transcription software or tools (e.g., Express Scribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking). Exceptional listening and comprehension skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Experience Minimum 1–2 years of experience in legal or medical transcription preferred. Experience with confidential or sensitive documents is highly valued. Working Hours Part-time: Saturdays and Sundays. Flexible weekend shifts, typically 4–8 hours per day depending on workload.
