Scrum Master

Ascentt Systems Inc is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Scrum Master based in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and Agile processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring adherence to time-boxed agendas and fostering team collaboration.
  • Create dashboards and reports for higher management, providing insights into project status, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investments and identify need for initial or supplemental project resources.
  • Track and monitor project progress using Agile metrics and tools such as burndown charts and task boards, providing visibility into team performance and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Create and manage project management artifacts, including project charters, plans, risk management documents, and communication plans, to ensure project success and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on various principles, helping to improve efficiency and deliver high-quality products within project timelines.
  • Work with Product Owners to develop and maintain product roadmaps, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Utilize experience in Agile Metrics, Jira, Confluence, UAT Testing, C#, Java and Mainframe technologies. Position requires 50% national travel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Technology, Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in Agile Metrics, Jira, Confluence, UAT Testing, C#, Java and Mainframe technologies.
