<strong>Job Requisition ID #<br><br></strong>26WD99136<br><br><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>The Senior Account Based Renewals Representative is a skilled level contributor who independently manages high volume renewal cycles across assigned accounts. The role focuses on executing advanced communication and negotiation activities, optimizing renewal workflows, and supporting customer retention with minimal guidance. The Renewal Representative proactively addresses customer needs, identifies churn risks and renewal blockers, and ensures strong customer satisfaction outcomes. They leverage CRM systems, data analysis, and workflow automation to drive efficiency and predictable renewal execution.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Execute End to End Renewal Motions<br><br><ul><li>Independently own and execute full renewal workflows across assigned Regional Accounts<br><br></li></ul>Close Renewals<br><br><ul><li>Defend the existing customer base by driving timely, accurate renewal execution with minimal guidance<br><br></li></ul>Drive and Close Seat Expansions<br><br><ul><li>Identify and close seat expansion opportunities (additional users across buyers, business units, divisions, or personas) at time of renewal using standard playbooks and creative approaches<br><br></li></ul>Monitor Auto Renewal Status<br><br><ul><li>Monitor account auto renewal settings and intervene when auto renewals are disabled to prevent churn, applying data analysis and judgment<br><br></li></ul>Customer Procurement Interaction<br><br><ul><li>Work directly with customer procurement teams to ensure renewal execution and accuracy</li><li>Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues as appropriate<br><br></li></ul>Skills & Competencies<br><br><ul><li>Organizational & Time Management: Optimizes workflows to manage high volume renewals efficiently with minimal oversight</li><li>Customer First Mindset: Proactively identifies customer needs and drives retention outcomes</li><li>Advanced Communication: Applies creative communication techniques to influence renewal decisions</li><li>Advanced Negotiation: Uses creative and structured approaches to secure renewals</li><li>CRM & Data Proficiency: Optimizes CRM usage, analyzes renewal data, and automates workflows to improve efficiency<br><br></li></ul>ATU (Account Team Unit) Collaboration<br><br><ul><li>Expansion Qualification: Engage Account Executives (AEs) on larger cross sell or expansion opportunities using creative approaches</li><li>Customer Success Alignment: Support collaboration with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to identify retention and adoption strategies</li><li>Partner Engagement: Provide light touch support to partners for partner owned accounts</li><li>Insights Sharing: Share churn risks, renewal blockers, and missed upsell signals across teams and regions</li><li>Feedback Loop: Provide structured feedback on product experience and packaging based on customer interactions<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of experience in renewals, inside sales, account management, or customer success, preferably in a software or SaaS environment</li><li>Demonstrated ability to independently manage high volume renewal cycles</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer outcomes</li><li>Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecasts, and renewal workflows</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple renewal motions</li><li>Experience engaging customer procurement or commercial teams<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience working in subscription or recurring revenue business models</li><li>Proven experience identifying churn risks and upsell signals using data or customer insights</li><li>Familiarity with partner assisted or partner led renewal motions.</li><li>Experience mentoring or supporting more junior sales or renewal representatives</li><li>Experience providing product or packaging feedback to internal stakeholders</li><li>Comfort working across cross regional or matrixed sales organizations</li><li>1<br><br></li></ul><strong>Learn More<br><br></strong><strong>About Autodesk<br><br></strong>Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $99,900 and $179,080. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
