This is a<strong> Remote – Brazil</strong> position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. Please note that this role is only open to candidates in Brazil. </p> <p>Our mission as Achievements & Gamification Squad is to create a rewarding experience for our users by highlighting our value proposition. We are transforming user real-time data into a narrative through gamification and rewards.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR IMPACT</strong></p> <ul> <li>Driven to deliver timely, high-quality work. Perform insightful pull-request reviews and build reusable code for future use;</li> <li>You proactively integrate AI agents into our engineering processes to drive unprecedented efficiency and automation;</li> <li>You treat AI as a <strong>force multiplier</strong>, strategically deploying it to solve complex technical bottlenecks and deliver measurable business value;</li> <li>Be data-driven and participate in and/or lead architectural decisions, share improvements opportunities, bring innovation to the table, and make sure design docs are up to date;</li> <li>Interact with product team and stakeholders to impact the business;</li> <li>Ensure successful deliveries, and promote the long-term technical health of our journeys;</li> <li>Take ownership of critical features, accountable and possess high level of ownership by following up engineering and product KPIs;</li> <li>Ensure a high bar on code quality standards, making sure devs are proud of their work;</li> <li>Technical reference for your team, spread development best practices such as code review, pair programming, TDD. Eager to learn and to share knowledge;</li> <li>Mentor less experienced developers;</li> <li>Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production;</li> <li>Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHO YOU ARE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience;</li> <li>A true team player who loves working towards both team and individual goals with at least 5 years of experience in backend development;</li> <li>Experience designing, developing and maintaining complex modern web applications;</li> <li>Experience with at least two different programming languages such as Go, Scala, Kotlin, or Java;</li> <li>Experience with SQL/NoSQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls;</li> <li>Demonstrated AI Fluency and an Agentic Engineering mindset, with the strategic judgment to integrate AI tools into your daily routine to maximize productivity, ensure high-quality delivery, and maintain full accountability for all shipped work;</li> <li>Experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS, etc., and an in-depth understanding of their use cases and pitfalls;</li> <li>Experienced in implementing prototypes and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling-out features to production;</li> <li>Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPI tracking;</li> <li>Experience with Cloud-based architectures in AWS;</li> <li>Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.</li> </ul> <p>We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
